Lesson Plan: Introduction to Tux Paint

Objective: Students will be able to create a simple picture using Tux Paint [i].

Materials:

Lesson Activities:

  1. Introduction (5 minutes)

      • Color Palette: Located at the bottom, it allows students to choose different colors [i].

    • Show students how to save their pictures by clicking the "Save" button [i].
    • Explain that their pictures will be saved in a special folder [i].
    • Demonstrate how to open a saved picture by clicking the "Open" button [i].
    • Remind students to save their work before closing Tux Paint [i].
