The purpose of this stage is to engage students from the beginning of the class, connecting the theme to their daily lives and the digital world. Furthermore, it aims to stimulate curiosity and prepare the ground for practicing script creation skills and oral communication.

Warming Up

To introduce the theme of Orality and Narrative, explain to the students that today they will explore how to create interesting stories and interviews that can be shared in audio or video. Instruct the students to use their cell phones to find an interesting fact about the importance of oral communication throughout history or how interviews can be impactful in our society. They should share these facts with the class, fostering an initial discussion.

- Instructions:

• Divide the students into groups of up to 5 people.

• Explain that each group will be responsible for creating a fictional digital influencer with specific characteristics and themes.

• Encourage students to conduct brief research on digital influencers and their interviews to better understand the format.

• Ask the groups to develop a list of 5 to 7 creative and pertinent questions for the fictional influencer.

• Use cell phones or computers to record the interview, where one student will be the 'influencer' and the others will act as interviewers.

• Guide the students to choose a topic of curiosities for their podcast. It can be something they like or are curious to learn more about.

• Ask the groups to conduct a brief research on the chosen topic, listing interesting and relevant facts.

• Each group must develop a script with an introduction, development, and conclusion, planning how they will present the curiosities in a playful and engaging way.

• Use cell phones or computers to record the podcast. One student can be the main presenter, while others can contribute with dialogues or sound effects.

• Guide the students to edit the audio using free apps, adding background music and special effects as needed.

• Request that each group shares their podcast with the class and discuss the creative choices they made to make the content more appealing.

Activity 3 - Class Digital Newspaper 📰

- Description: In this activity, students will create a class digital newspaper, containing interviews, news, and curiosities chosen by them. The objective is to develop a cohesive and collaborative script that will be presented in a digital format.

- Instructions:

• Divide the students into groups of up to 5 people.

• Explain that each group will be responsible for a specific section of the digital newspaper (interviews, news, curiosities, etc.).

• Encourage students to research different formats of digital newspapers to understand which elements are essential.

• Each group must create a detailed script for their section, including questions, news, and curiosities they will present.

• Use cell phones or computers to record the videos or audios of each section of the digital newspaper.

• Guide students in editing the videos and audios, using free apps to create a cohesive and dynamic final product.
