Guided Meditation is a practice that involves focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity to achieve a state of mental and emotional clarity. This technique is particularly useful for promoting student presence and concentration, preparing them for learning by reducing stress and increasing mindfulness. By starting the lesson with a brief guided meditation session, students can better connect with the content and each other, creating an environment conducive to socio-emotional and cognitive development.

1. Ask students to sit comfortably in their chairs, with their feet firmly on the floor and their hands resting gently on their laps.

2. Explain that the activity will last approximately 5 minutes and that the goal is to focus the mind and calm thoughts.

3. Instruct students to gently close their eyes and concentrate on their breathing, inhaling and exhaling deeply.

4. Guide students with a calm and serene voice, asking them to pay attention to the air entering and leaving their lungs, feeling the expansion and contraction of their abdomen.

4. Hydropower: Obtained from the force of moving water, typically in hydropower plants. Example: The Itaipu Dam, one of the largest in the world, located on the border between Brazil and Paraguay.
