Earth: Formation of the Continents: Review

Objectives (5 - 7 minutes)

  1. Understanding of Continental Drift by Wegener: Students should acquire knowledge about the continental drift theory proposed by Alfred Wegener. They will understand how Wegener argued that continents moved over geological time and how this theory was initially rejected by the scientific community.
