In volleyball, each team can touch the ball a maximum of three times before sending it to the opposing side. The touch can be made with any part of the body as long as it is not held or pushed. The scoring system is based on rally point, where a point is awarded to the team that wins the play, regardless of who served. The match is divided into sets, and the team that wins three sets first (in a best of five match) is declared the winner. Each set is played to 25 points, with a minimum difference of two points.
• 2. Describe the functions and responsibilities of at least three player positions in a volleyball match. Setter: The player responsible for organizing the attack by setting the ball for attackers. Their role is essential for creating effective attack opportunities. Opposite: The main attacker of the team, playing in the attack line. They receive most of the sets to make spikes.
