Introduction
Hello, little scientists! Have you ever stopped to think about how each of us is unique? Just as there are no two identical fingerprints in the world, each human being has their own physical characteristics that make us special. Our height, eye color, nose shape, hair color and type, all of these are examples of human physical characteristics.
Some characteristics are determined by genetics, which is like a map that each of us carries within our cells and that makes us who we are. Other characteristics are influenced by our diet, physical activities, and the environment where we live. For example, if you practice a lot of sports, you will probably have stronger muscles.
It is important to know and understand the various human physical characteristics to understand the diversity among human beings, learn to respect differences, and thus promote tolerance and empathy. Remember, each of us is special and unique!
Contextualization
Have you ever heard that diversity is what makes our world interesting? And how good it is that we are all different, imagine if we were all the same?! The differences in human physical characteristics make each person unique and special. They are influenced by both our genetics and our environment and lifestyle, and that is what makes us so varied.
In our project, we will explore the different human physical characteristics in a fun and practical way. We will understand how these characteristics make us unique and how understanding and respecting these differences helps us to be better people. Imagine how interesting it would be to become a detective of human characteristics and discover a little more about ourselves and our colleagues!

Practical Activity: "Our Album of Human Diversities"
Project Objective
Create an illustrated album that represents the diversity of human physical characteristics.
Project Description
In this project, our little scientists will create an illustrated album that represents the differences in human physical characteristics. You will make a "portrait" of each team member highlighting their physical characteristics. You can draw, paint, write poetry, or create a text describing your own physical characteristics and those of your team members.
This project will help you understand the differences in human physical characteristics and learn more about yourself and your colleagues. By the end of the project, you will realize how unique and special we all are!
Materials Needed
- Sheets of paper (A3, A4, whatever is available)
- Pencils, colored pens, crayons, or paint
- Scissors
- Glue
- Old magazines (optional)
- Personal photographs (optional)
Step by Step

Divide into groups of 3 to 5 students.

Each group member should choose one of the other members and study their physical characteristics, such as hair color, hair type, eye color, nose shape, etc.

After studying the physical characteristics of your colleague, you should create a portrait of them using the available materials. You can draw by hand, paste magazine cutouts, use photographs, etc. Be creative!

Write a brief description of your colleague, highlighting their physical characteristics.

Repeat steps 2 to 4 for each group member. Each student in the group should have a portrait and a written description.

Finally, gather all the portraits and descriptions and assemble your "Album of Human Diversities".
Remember that the most important thing is to learn to value and respect everyone's differences. We all have different physical characteristics, and all of them are beautiful and unique!
Project Delivery
Each group of students must present their "Album of Human Diversities" to the class, explaining what they have learned about the diversity of human physical characteristics. The album will be evaluated based on the accuracy of the descriptions, the creativity of the portraits, and the presentation to the rest of the class.
