Practical Activity: "The Journey of the Little Writer"

Project Objective

The objective of this project is to help students understand the importance of writing, recognize the different types of writing (narrative and informative), and develop their writing skills in a fun and practical way.

Project Description

Students will be divided into groups of 3 to 5 participants, and each group will be responsible for creating a small book. The book should contain two stories: a narrative story (an adventure invented by the students) and an informative story (an interesting fact researched by the students).

Necessary Materials

• A4 paper or notebook to write the stories
• Pencils, erasers, colored pens to illustrate the stories
• Research materials (books, computer, etc.) for the informative story

Project Step by Step

1. Define the Stories: The group must decide what the narrative story will be (an invented adventure) and what the informative story will be (an interesting researched fact). They should discuss and write down the main ideas and events of each story.

2. Write the Stories: Using the A4 paper or notebook, the students must write the two stories. They can do this individually or together, depending on each student's writing level. Remind them to use the right words and to organize their ideas clearly and sequentially.

3. Illustrate the Stories: After finishing writing, the students must illustrate their stories. They can use colored pencils, colored pens, or any other materials they have available.
