Interaction is a fundamental part of our daily life. Every day, we interact with various people - our family, friends, teachers, neighbors, and even strangers. Our community is the place where we live, where our families reside, where we go to school, and where we spend most of our time. It is made up of many elements, such as houses, streets, schools, parks, shops, and much more. And each of these elements is the result of interactions between people and the place where they live.
Introduction
In our interactions with the community, we can notice many interesting things. For example, we can see how people use different parts of the community for different purposes. Some places, like schools and parks, are mainly used for education and leisure. Others, like supermarkets and shops, are mainly used for buying things we need.
Furthermore, we can also see how people modify the environment to meet their needs. For example, roads are built to facilitate people's mobility, parks are created to provide green spaces and leisure, and houses are built to accommodate families.
All these interactions and modifications shape our community and make it unique. No community is exactly like another because each one is the result of interactions between people and the place where they live. In this activity, each group of students will explore their community and create a "Map of Our Community" and a "Drawing of Our Community". In the "Map of Our Community", students must mark and describe the different locations they find, such as schools, parks, supermarkets, churches, etc. In the "Drawing of Our Community", students must represent the people and activities they observe in the community.
