Have you heard about capacity and mass? Capacity is the magnitude we use to measure the amount of liquid a container can hold. For example, when we buy a soda, the capacity of the bottle tells us how many liters of liquid it can hold. Mass, on the other hand, is the magnitude we use to measure the amount of matter an object has. When you go to the market and buy fruits, their mass tells us how much they weigh.

Project Objective

The objective of this project is to allow students to explore and practice capacity and mass measures in a playful and meaningful way. By the end of the project, it is expected that students will be able to compare quantities, measure accurately, and understand the relationships between capacity and mass measures.

Detailed Project Description

Students, divided into groups of 3 to 5, will create a "Measures Laboratory" in the classroom with different objects and materials. They will have to carry out various practical activities, such as measuring the capacity of containers, comparing object masses, and even creating recipes.

Each group must set up their laboratory, collecting a variety of containers of different sizes, such as cups, mugs, bottles, and pots.
