Today, we are going to dive into the universe of two classic games that we all know: 'Hide and Seek' and 'Tag'. Are you ready for the adventure?

Introduction

Games and play are a fun and effective way to learn. They teach us to work as a team, develop strategies, solve problems, and manage our time and resources. In 'Hide and Seek', for example, we need to think about places where we can hide without being seen and how we can escape if we are caught. In 'Tag', on the other hand, we need to run, dodge, and tag our friends, while trying not to be tagged.

Furthermore, these games are also great for our physical health. When we play, we are moving, which is very important to keep our body healthy and active. In 'Hide and Seek', we run to hide and to find our friends. In 'Tag', we run to tag and not to be tagged. These activities help improve our endurance, strength, balance, and motor coordination.

Now, imagine if we could learn more about the history, rules, and strategies of these games through a fun project? That would be amazing, right? And that's exactly what we are going to do! Our project will be divided into two parts: the first one, called 'The History of Play', where we will research and discover more about the origin and evolution of Hide and Seek and Tag; and the second one, 'The Game in Practice', where we will create our own versions of these games and play them as a team. Project Objective

Step by Step

1. Group Formation: Divide into groups of 3 to 5 students. Each group will be responsible for researching about a game: one group will research 'Hide and Seek' and another 'Tag'.

2. Research: Using the internet (with teacher supervision) or books, research the history of the game you chose. You can look for information such as: where and when the game originated, how it evolved over the years, what are the basic rules, etc.

3. Information Collection: Write down the most important information you find. Remember that you will need it to create the poster.

4. Poster Creation: Now it's time to use your creativity! With the cardboard or poster board, colored pens, scissors, and glue, you will create an informative poster about the game you researched. You can use drawings, magazine cutouts, words, and phrases to illustrate the characteristics and history of the game.

5. Poster Presentation: When the poster is ready, each group will present it to the class. During the presentation, share what you learned about the game, how it is played, and other interesting facts you found.

6. Group Discussion: After all presentations, we will have a group discussion about the games. What did you learn? Are there similarities or differences between 'Hide and Seek' and 'Tag'? What did you enjoy learning the most?
