- Two thermometers
- Clock or timer
- Aluminum foil
- Piece of black fabric and a piece of white fabric
- Transparent water bottles
- Adhesive tape

Experiment 1: Sun's Effect Throughout the Day
Step 1: Choose an outdoor place that stays in the sun most of the day.
Step 2: Place a thermometer in that location and record the temperature every hour during the day, starting in the morning until late afternoon.
Step 3: Write down the temperatures on a piece of paper and make a graph of time (on the x-axis) versus temperature (on the y-axis).
Step 4: Discuss with the group what the graph shows. Does the temperature increase or decrease at certain times of the day? Why?
Experiment 2: Sun's Effect on Different Materials
Step 1: Fill two transparent water bottles halfway.
