The first thing we need to understand is that games and playfulness are powerful learning tools. Through them, we can learn about rules, teamwork, strategy, rhythm, and much more. But most importantly, through games and playfulness, we learn while having fun!

In music, we find elements such as rhythm, melody, harmony, and timbre. Rhythm is the tempo at which the music develops. It is marked by the music's beat, which is like its heart. Melody is the sequence of notes of the main theme of a song. Harmony, on the other hand, consists of the notes that accompany the melody, forming chords.

Now that we know the basics about games, playfulness, and music, how about we explore this universe more deeply?

The use of games, playfulness, and music in Education is an effective way to develop important skills, such as teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, and communication. Everyone has played the game of 'telephone', right? This game teaches the importance of clear communication. Or who has never had fun playing 'musical chairs'? This game works on our motor skills and our sense of rhythm.

Activity Title: Musical Harmony in Group

Project Objective

The objective of this project is for students to develop the ability to work as a team and communicate effectively through the creation of musical performances that involve games and playfulness.

Detailed Project Description

Students will be divided into groups of 3 to 5 participants, each with the task of creating a small musical presentation using handmade instruments made from recycled materials. This musical presentation must tell a story, and this story must be incorporated through a game or playfulness. The presentation will be performed for the class and recorded on video.

Necessary Materials:

• Recyclable materials such as cans, cardboard boxes, plastic bottles, etc.

• Blunt scissors, glue, tape, paint, brushes, and other materials to decorate the instruments.

• Camera or cell phone to record the presentation.

Step-by-Step for Activity Execution

1. Formation of Groups:

First, students will be divided into groups. Each group must then decide on a story they want to tell through their musical presentation.

2. Creation of Musical Instruments:

Each group receives a set of recyclable materials. They must then design and create their own musical instruments. For example, a soda can and some beans can be used to create a rattle.

3. Creation of the Musical Presentation:

Once the musical instruments are ready, the groups must start creating their musical presentation. They must decide who will play which instruments, which sounds represent different parts of the story, and how they will incorporate a game or playfulness into the presentation.

4. Rehearsal of the Presentation:

Once the presentation is created, the groups must rehearse until they are comfortable with the order of the presentation. They must make sure they can play their instruments, tell their story, and perform their playfulness effectively.

5. Recording of the Presentation:

Finally, when the groups are ready, they must perform and record their presentation. They can use a cell phone or a camera to do this.

6. Presentation on the Scheduled Day:

On the scheduled day, the groups present their musical performances to the rest of the class. The presentations are displayed one after the other, allowing everyone to appreciate the creativity and hard work of their classmates.
