Project Objective

The objective of this project is for students, in groups, to build a model of a city and a countryside, exploring the characteristics of each in a playful and creative way. With this, they will understand the differences between these two geographical spaces and the interdependence between them.

Project Description

The groups will be challenged to create a 'Mini-World', which will include a mini-city and a mini-countryside. The city should feature some of the main urban elements, such as buildings, streets, schools, shops, hospitals, etc. The countryside, on the other hand, should represent nature, with plantations, rivers, and animals.

Required Materials

For this activity, the following materials will be needed:

1. Cardboard or a firm base for construction.
2. Modeling clay, clay, or plasticine.
3. Various recyclable materials (bottles, boxes, toilet paper rolls, etc.).
4. Pencils, pens, ruler, scissors.
5. Paints, brushes, and A4 paper sheets for drawing.

Step by Step

1. Group Formation: Students should organize themselves into groups of 3 to 5 members.
