Sequence, what does that mean? Well, a sequence is an ordered list of numbers, which may or may not follow a pattern. For example, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 is a simple sequence, where each number is followed by the next, increasing by one. But not all sequences are as simple as this one.
Introduction
Today, we will focus on a special type of sequences, called multiples of a natural number. But what are multiples? Multiples are the results of multiplying one number by another. For example, the multiples of 2 are: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12... Did you notice the pattern? All these numbers can be obtained by multiplying the number 2 by a natural number.
Now, imagine if we had a sequence of multiples of 3: 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18... Can you identify the pattern? Each number in this sequence is obtained by multiplying the number 3 by a natural number.

Practical Activity: "Unraveling Multiple Sequences"
Project Objective
The objective of this project is to allow students to experience and understand the sequences of multiples of a natural number, as well as develop skills such as problem-solving, logical thinking, teamwork, and communication.
Project Description
Each group of students will receive a natural number and will have to generate a sequence with the first 10 multiples of that number. Then, the students should analyze the sequence, identify the pattern, and present it to the class. Finally, the groups will create a story, a drawing, or a song about their sequence, in order to make learning even more fun and meaningful.
Materials Needed
- Paper and pencil for notes and calculations
- Materials for creating the artistic presentation (paper, colored pencils, markers, musical instruments, etc.)
Step by Step

Group Formation: The teacher will form groups of 3 to 5 students.

Definition of the Natural Number: Each group will receive a natural number between 2 and 10.
