Hello, kids! We are about to embark on an incredible journey through the world of writing. Did you know that writing is one of humanity's greatest inventions? It allows us to record our ideas, feelings, and learn from the knowledge accumulated over the centuries. In this project, we will explore two aspects of writing: shared writing and autonomous writing.
Shared writing is when two or more people come together to create a text. You have done this at school, haven't you? Who has never participated in a collective dictation or a group essay? It is a great way to learn to work as a team and exchange ideas.
On the other hand, autonomous writing is when each person writes a text alone, without anyone's help. It is the type of writing we are most used to doing in homework tasks, such as essays and summaries. Autonomous writing is very important for developing our creativity and expressing our opinions.
Importance
Writing is essential in our daily lives. It allows us to communicate ideas, express feelings, and record information. Moreover, it is a fundamental tool for learning. Through writing, we can organize our thoughts, deepen our knowledge, and share our discoveries with others.
Mastering shared writing is important for learning to work as a team, to listen to and respect others' opinions, and to manage conflicts. Autonomous writing, on the other hand, helps us develop our creativity, express our opinions clearly, and organize our ideas.

Practical Activity
Activity Title: "Our Storybook"
Project Objective
The objective of this project is to allow students to experience shared and autonomous writing, developing linguistic and social skills. The activity also aims to stimulate creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving.
Detailed Project Description
Students will be divided into groups of 3 to 5 members, and each group will have the task of creating a storybook. Each student will contribute with a story written autonomously, and the group will collaborate to create a shared story.
Required Materials
- A4 papers or notebooks to write the stories
- Pencils and erasers
- Colored pens to illustrate the stories
- Cardboards or colored papers for the book cover
- Glue and blunt scissors
- Adhesive tape
Step by Step

Group Formation: Divide the class into groups of 3 to 5 students. Each group should choose a name for their team.

Autonomous Writing: Each student should write their own story on an A4 paper or in a notebook. The story can be on any theme, as long as it is suitable for the age and respects the school rules. Remember that the story should have a beginning, middle, and end.

Shared Writing: After everyone has finished writing their stories, it's time to create the group's shared story. Students should gather and, together, decide on the story's theme, sequence of events, and characters. Each student will contribute a piece of the story, which will be connected to the parts written by other classmates.

Revision and Editing: After the shared writing, students should review the group's story, correcting grammar and spelling errors, and making improvements if necessary.

Illustration: After the revision, students should illustrate their stories. Each page of the book should have an illustration representing the written part of the story.

Book Making: Now it's time to turn the stories into a book! Students should fold the A4 paper sheets in half and place the story pages in the correct order. Then, they should cut the cardboard or colored paper to make the book cover. The cover should have the book title and the authors' names.

Book Presentation: The groups will present their books to the class, reading the stories and explaining the process of shared and autonomous writing.
Delivery Format
Students must deliver the finished storybook, with the illustrations and pages well organized. Additionally, each student must submit the story they wrote autonomously.
The books and stories must be delivered on the scheduled date, and the presentation to the class will take place during the project week.
