Practical Activity

Activity Title: "The Traveling Book: Our Adventure through Shared and Autonomous Writing"

Project Objective:

The objective of this project is to allow students to experience and practice shared and autonomous writing, developing their communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking skills. In addition, the project will promote appreciation for reading and writing, allowing students to create an illustrated book of stories.

Detailed Project Description:

Students, divided into groups of 3 to 5, will collectively create an illustrated book of stories. Each group will write and illustrate a story, exploring shared writing. Then, each student in the group will create an individual story, exploring autonomous writing. By the end of the project, each group will have produced a book with a collective story and several individual stories.

Required Materials:

• A4 paper
• Writing pencils, colored pens, colored pencils
• Ruler
• Blunt scissors
• White glue
• Old magazines for cutting (optional)
• Access to a computer and printer (for research or image printing if needed)

Detailed Step-by-Step Guide for the Activity:

1. Group Formation: Divide the class into groups of 3 to 5 students. Explain to the students that they will be a team and will work together to create a book of stories.

2. Ideas for the Stories: Each group should brainstorm ideas for their stories. They can choose any theme they like, as long as it is appropriate for school. Encourage them to be creative!

3. Shared Writing of the Group's Story: Now, each group should write the story they have chosen. They can do this task together, dividing ideas and parts of the story among the group members. Remind them of the importance of listening to everyone's ideas and working as a team.

4. Illustration of the Group's Story: After writing the story, the students should illustrate it. They can use colored pencils, colored pens, magazine cutouts, or any other materials they desire.
