In this fun activity, you will work in teams to create an animated digital drawing! You will create a small character and animate this character with simple movements in a computer program. Thus, you will be combining art (drawing and animation) and technology (computers and animation software).

• Simple animation software (Scratch is recommended, as it is a free and easy-to-use platform)

Detailed Step-by-Step Guide for Activity Execution

1. Group Formation: The teacher will form groups of 3 to 5 students.

2. Discussion and Planning: In your groups, discuss and decide on the character you want to create. It can be an animal, a person, or any creature your imagination allows! Remember to also think about what kind of movement your character will make.

3. Character Drawing: Using the Scratch software, draw your character. To do this, you need to click on the "paint new sprite" option and then you can use the drawing tools to create your character.
