Project Objective

Students will explore the Cultural Heritage, Material and Immaterial of their region or country and express it creatively.

Project Description

In this project, students will be divided into groups of 3 to 5. Each group will be tasked with researching, creating, and presenting a project on an example of Cultural Heritage, Material and Immaterial from their community or country.

Students can choose to explore a traditional dance, a typical dish, a popular festival, a historic building, etc. They will then create a 'Heritage Poster' that must include written information, drawings, and/or photographs.

Required Materials

• Cardboard or poster board
• Colored pens, markers, and colored pencils
• Scissors and glue
• Magazines, old newspapers (for cutouts)
• Computers with Internet access (for research)

Step by Step

1. Divide the class into groups of 3 to 5 students.

2. Each group chooses an aspect of Cultural Heritage, Material and Immaterial of their choice to research.

3. The groups conduct research on the internet, books, and/or interviews with people from their community or family to learn about the chosen heritage.
