Practical Activity: 'Building Our City of Dreams'

Project Objective

This project aims to develop students' understanding of the characteristics of Ancient Cities and Contemporary Cities, as well as to stimulate creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking.

Students will be divided into groups and will have to create, in a model, their 'City of Dreams', which will be a mix of elements from Ancient Cities and Contemporary Cities. The idea is for the city to have features that students consider important for a good quality of life, such as parks, schools, hospitals, leisure areas, etc.

1. Cardboard for the base of the model
2. Modeling clay (or clay) to create buildings and monuments
3. Paints and brushes to color the model
4. Glue and blunt scissors to glue and cut out elements
5. Recyclable materials, such as plastic bottles, boxes, bottle caps, etc., to decorate the city
