Project Objective
Students should conceive, create, and share a fictional "Mathematical Pizza" to demonstrate their knowledge of sharing and other important mathematical concepts. This interdisciplinary project will involve skills in mathematics, arts, and writing.
Detailed Project Description
Each group of 3 to 5 students will be responsible for creating their "Mathematical Pizza." The pizza should be a large circle made of paper (or similar material) that will be "cut" into equal parts, each part representing a different mathematical topic. Each part of the pizza should contain information about the represented topic, including a definition, examples, and a practical application in real life.
The mathematical topics that can be chosen include: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, geometry (area, perimeter), measures of central tendency (mean, median, mode), etc.

Form groups of 3 to 5 students and decide together which mathematical topics you will represent on your pizza (at least 4, but no more than the number of group members).
