Introduction
In our daily lives, we use different units of time to measure how long it takes to do something. For example, we use minutes to measure how long it takes to brush our teeth, hours to measure how long it takes to do homework, and days to measure how long a weekend lasts. But sometimes, we need to convert from one unit of time to another. For example, if we want to know how many minutes are in 2 hours, we need to do a time conversion.
Time conversion is not only useful for our daily lives, but it is also an important skill in many areas, such as science, engineering, and management. In science, for example, researchers often need to convert time measurements from one unit system to another in order to compare the results of different studies.
But how do we do that? Well, the good news is that time conversion is done using the same logic we use to convert other measurements, such as length or weight. In this project, you will become 'Time Detectives'. The goal is to explore, understand, and practice time conversion by creating an illustrated manual of time conversions.
Project Description
Each group of students will create an illustrated manual of time conversions. Step by Step
