In science classes, we will embark on this stellar journey, where we will study the stars and constellations that fascinate us so much.
Astronomy is a branch of science that studies celestial bodies, such as stars, planets, comets, nebulas, star clusters, galaxies, and the structure of the universe itself. As one of the oldest sciences, astronomy has led humans to look to the sky to seek answers and create stories to unravel the mysteries of the stars. Constellations, an important part of the study of astronomy, are groups of stars that are visually close to each other in the night sky, and that humans, over the centuries, have connected to form patterns or figures.
Although our daily life may seem distant from the stellar universe, it is not quite so. After all, the sun, which regulates our day and provides us with the light and heat necessary for life on Earth, is a star. In addition, astronomical studies are essential for the development of technologies and for the expansion of our knowledge. For example, GPS technology, which we use in our daily lives, is a direct result of studies related to astronomy.
Delving more deeply into the study of stars and constellations makes us more connected to the universe and helps us better understand the greatness and complexity of everything that surrounds us. Learning to identify a constellation in the night sky allows us to feel part of a larger whole and helps us understand the importance of science in our lives.

Project Objective
This project aims to encourage students to delve deeper into stars and constellations, understand what they are, how they are formed, and their characteristics. In addition, the activity proposes the identification of some famous constellations, using resources such as star maps and applications. We will also associate this practical activity with the arts discipline, creating a playful representation of the constellations.
Project Description
In this activity, students will divide into groups of 3 to 5 students. The work will be divided into three main phases: research, observation and identification, and artistic representation.

Research: Students should research in books and on the Internet about the main constellations, how they are formed, and their associated myths.

The written document should be submitted to the teacher and will be one of the bases for project evaluation.
