But why is this so important? Well, our blood is like a great carrier of nutrients and oxygen. It carries these substances to all cells in our body, allowing them to function properly. In addition, blood also helps transport the defense cells of our body, which protect us against invading microorganisms, such as bacteria and viruses.

Understanding the Circulatory System is essential to comprehend how our body works. It is through it that our body feeds, breathes, and protects itself. Detailed Project Description
In this project, students will work in groups of 3 to 5. Each group will be responsible for creating a model representing the circulatory system and a 'path of blood' made with straws, which will run through the entire model, representing the blood flow through our body.
In the model, the heart should be highlighted, as it is the central organ of the circulatory system. In addition, students should represent the arteries (which carry blood from the heart to the rest of the body), the veins (which bring blood back to the heart), and the capillaries (small blood vessels that connect arteries to veins).
