Contextualization

Water is a natural resource essential for our survival and for the balance of planet Earth. It is present in almost all natural processes and is essential for the existence and maintenance of life. However, despite being an abundant resource, most of the water on our planet is salty and cannot be consumed directly by us or by animals. For water to be used for drinking, cooking, bathing, watering plants, among other things, it needs to go through a treatment process.

Introduction

The rational use of water has become a very important topic in recent years, due to the increase in the world population and the development of new technologies that consume large amounts of water. Water waste is a problem that affects the entire planet, and it is the responsibility of all of us to seek solutions to this problem.

In Brazil, the situation is not much different. Despite being a country with great water availability, many regions of the country suffer from water scarcity, especially during droughts. In addition, the pollution of rivers, lakes and oceans is also a serious problem that affects the quality of the water we consume.

Therefore, it is very important that we learn to use water consciously and responsibly, avoiding waste and seeking ways to preserve and conserve this precious resource. In this project, we will explore the theme "Water Use" in a practical and fun way, seeking to better understand the importance of water, how it is used and how we can save and preserve this resource.

Importance of the Activity

The main objective of this project is to raise awareness among students about the importance of water and the need to use it ration and responsibly. In addition, the proposed activity will develop social skills, such as communication and teamwork, and cognitive skills, such as problem solving, creative thinking and ability to manage time.

At the end of the project, students will be able to understand the importance of water for life on the planet, identify the main uses of water in everyday life, recognize and avoid water waste, and propose simple solutions to preserve and conserve this resource.
