Activity Title: "Adventure in the Land of Words"

Project Objective

The objective of this project is to develop text production and revision skills, as well as to stimulate teamwork, creativity, and organization.

Detailed Project Description

In this activity, students will become true linguistic detectives, seeking to unravel the secrets of words! And how will they do that? Through the creation of a small book, which will be produced in groups with the guidance and supervision of the teacher.

Required Materials

• A4 paper
• Colored pens
• Pencils and erasers
• Ruler
• Glue and scissors
• Old magazines and newspapers (for cutouts)

Detailed Step-by-Step for Activity Execution

1. Group Formation: The teacher will form groups of 3 to 5 students.

2. Theme Selection: Each group must choose a theme for their book. It can be a free theme, such as animals, sports, adventure stories, etc.

3. Book Sketch: The students, together, will sketch how they want the book to look. How many pages will it have? What will each page contain? This sketch must be approved by the teacher before moving on to the next step.

4. Text Production: Now it's time to write! Each student in the group should write a short text about some aspect of the chosen theme. For example, if the theme is animals, one student can write about lions, another about snakes, and so on.

5. Text Revision: After everyone writes their texts, the group should meet to revise them. Each one should read their classmates' texts and provide suggestions for improvements.

6. Illustration of Pages: With the texts ready and revised, it's time to illustrate! Each student should illustrate the page of the book that contains their text.

7. Book Assembly: Now, with everything ready, it's time to assemble the book! The pages should be glued in the correct order, and the book should be covered.

8. Book Presentation: Finally, each group should present their book to the class. In this presentation, they should talk about the chosen theme, explain what they learned during the text production and revision process, and highlight the aspects they liked the most in the book.
