Introduction

Text Production is the act of creating a text, whether it be small or large, simple or complex. It involves various stages, such as choosing the topic, organizing ideas, selecting words, and revising the text. Each of these stages is essential for our text to be clear and well-structured.

On the other hand, Text Revision is the act of reviewing, correcting, and improving an already written text. It is an essential step in the writing process because it helps us identify and correct grammar, spelling, and agreement errors, as well as improve the clarity and fluency of the text.

Importance of the Topic

Understanding and being able to apply the concepts of Text Production and Revision is essential for us to communicate effectively. Knowing how to write well helps us express our ideas clearly and convincingly, assists us in better understanding what we read, and makes us more capable of facing the challenges of the modern world, where writing is a valued skill in all areas of work.

Furthermore, mastering writing is also fundamental for the development of other skills, such as argumentation, creativity, critical thinking, and self-awareness. Practical Activity: "The Literary Detective"

Project Objective

The objective of this project is to allow students, in groups of 3 to 5, to apply the skills of Text Production and Text Revision in a playful context, aiming to enhance their linguistic and communicative competencies.

Detailed Project Description

The groups will be invited to become "Literary Detectives." Each group will receive a fictional case to solve, which consists of analyzing a set of texts, where the production and revision of various types of texts, such as narratives, letters, dialogues, among others, will be necessary.

Students will have to work together, applying Text Production concepts to create their answers and Text Revision to verify if their answers are clear, cohesive, coherent, grammatically correct, and well-written.

Required Materials

• A4 paper sheets or notebooks for notes and drafts.
• Pens, pencils, and erasers.
• Access to a computer with internet (for research, if necessary).
• Textbooks and supplementary books (if available).

Detailed Step-by-Step

1. Group Formation: Divide the class into groups of 3 to 5 students. Each group will be a "Literary Detective."

2. Case Presentation: Each group will receive a "Literary Case" to be solved. The case will consist of various texts that students must analyze and discuss in the group.

3. Text Production: Students, in groups, must produce various types of texts to solve the case, such as narratives, letters, dialogues, among others. Each text produced must be revised by the group before being considered finalized.

4. Text Revision: After the production of the texts, students must revise them in the group, following a revision checklist provided by the teacher. The revision should include checking for clarity, cohesion, coherence, grammar, and spelling of the texts.

5. Presentation of Results: At the end of the project, each group will present their findings and conclusions to the entire class, using the texts produced and revised.

6. Feedback: The teacher will provide detailed feedback on the performance of each group, highlighting strengths and areas that need improvement.
