Introduction

Video, on the other hand, is a more recent form of media that emerged in the 20th century. Video combines static images (like photography) and sound to tell stories, communicate ideas, or simply entertain. Project Objective:

This project aims to explore artistic expression through photography and video, providing students with the opportunity to learn about the history, techniques, and applications of these art forms.

Students will work in groups of 3 to 5, and the project will have a total duration of 12 hours per student.

Project Description:

Throughout the project, students will:

1. Research the history of photography and video.
2. Analyze different visual styles.
3. Create a script for a short film, involving literary aspects in the creation of the plot and characters.
4. Record their stories through photography and video.
5. Edit the video and select the photographs for the final composition.
6. Present the project and report it in a written document.

Required Materials:

1. Camera or smartphone with a camera.
2. Internet access for research and learning.
3. Video editing software (any freely available software).
4. Paper and pens for drafting and script creation.

Step by Step:

1. Research and Planning: Use the recommended resources in the introduction and others found to learn about the history of photography and video. Analyze different styles and techniques and choose the ones you think are most suitable for your story.

2. Script: Based on the research, create a script for a short film. Involve literary aspects in creating the plot and characters. The script should include descriptions of each scene, character dialogues, and actions that will occur in the video.

3. Capture: Using the camera or smartphone, capture the photographs and videos according to the script. Do some tests beforehand to find the best angles and lighting.

4. Editing: Using video editing software, assemble the video according to the script. Choose the best photographs that tell your story.

5. Presentation: Present your story through the video and photography to your classmates.

6. Report: Write a report on the entire process of creating the short film and editing the photography. The report should have four parts: Introduction, Development, Conclusions, and Bibliography used.

The Conclusion should summarize the main points, the learning acquired, and the conclusions about the project. The Bibliography should list the project's research sources.

Project Delivery:
