Detailed description of the project
Groups of 3 to 5 students will be formed and each group will be responsible for researching two professions within the visual arts, which will be drawn among the groups. Each group should delve into the understanding of these professionals, through online research, interviews with professionals (if possible), reading articles, videos, etc., and then prepare a presentation for the class on what they have learned.
Each presentation should include:
- A detailed description of each profession: What they do, how they got started, what their responsibilities are, what the challenges and rewards of the job are, etc.
- Videos, images, and/or works of art that exemplify the work of these professionals.
- A discussion of the role of these professionals in the visual arts market.
- Conclusions about the importance of these professionals to society.
