In English language teaching, understanding and being able to share information about 'Routines and Personal Information' is a fundamental pillar. Addressing this topic will allow students to learn how to express their daily activities, talk about their personal interests, habits, and much more, in English.

In the real world, being able to express and understand personal information and daily routines in English is a crucial skill. It is useful for international travel, online communications, and even job opportunities. Imagine traveling to an English-speaking country and being able to introduce yourself, share your food preferences, or describe your routine outside your home country. Wouldn't that be amazing?

Theoretical Introduction

In this project, we will address four main concepts: use of verbs in the Simple Present, Adverbs of Frequency, Time Expressions, and vocabulary related to routines and personal information.

1. Simple Present: This is the verb tense we use to talk about general facts, daily routines, and permanent states. To form the simple present, we use the verb infinitive without 'to' for the first person singular and for all plural persons. For the third person singular, we add '-s' or '-es' to the infinitive without 'to'.

2. Adverbs of Frequency: These are words used to show how often something happens. Examples include: always, usually, often, sometimes, rarely, and never.

3. Time Expressions: These are expressions used to indicate when something happens, such as 'in the morning,' 'in the afternoon,' 'at night,' and 'on the weekends'.

4. Vocabulary related to routines and personal information: In this project, we will work on vocabulary related to personal information like name, age, nationality, profession. We will also study vocabulary related to daily routines like waking up, brushing teeth, having breakfast, going to school, doing homework, etc.

My Daily Life Project – A Digital Diary

Project Objective:

The objective of this project is to empower students to share their daily routines and personal information in English. They will learn how to use the Simple Present, Adverbs of Frequency, and Time Expressions in the context of their own lives, as well as expand their vocabulary in these areas.

Detailed Project Description:

Students will work in groups of 3 to 5 people to create a digital diary that addresses the daily routines and personal information of the group members. This digital diary will be like a blog or a website, containing several pages, where each page will be dedicated to a group member. Each page should include: personal details (name, age, profession, nationality), individual's daily routine, and leisure activities.

Additionally, for each group member, they should create a short video 'A Day in My Life', in which the group member talks about their daily routine in English. Each student should talk about their routine from the moment they wake up to the moment they go to sleep.

Students should aim to use verbs in the Simple Present, Adverbs of Frequency, Time Expressions, and the vocabulary studied during the project implementation.

• Camera for filming

1. Group Formation: Students should form groups of 3 to 5 people.

2. Project Planning: Groups should plan the content of the digital diary. They should decide what to include on the pages and start working on the script for the 'A Day in My Life' videos.

3. Video Production: Each group member should film the 'A Day in My Life' video. All group members should participate in filming and editing the videos.

4. Creation of the Digital Diary: Groups should create the digital diary. They can use free platforms to create the digital diary site.

5. Preparation of the Written Document: Alongside creating the digital diary, students should start working on the written document. This document should follow the report format containing Introduction, Development, Conclusions, and Bibliography.

1. Digital Diary: This is the final product of the project that shows the practical implementation of the studied concepts. It should include all personal information and daily routines of the group members.
