However, to understand this, we need to study each part in detail.

For example, we can apply the concept of systems to the organization of a school, where there are different parts (such as administration, teachers, students, etc.) that work together for the functioning of the whole. Therefore, understanding the organization of systems is crucial to understand not only our own body but also the world around us.

Relevance and Real-World Applications

The organization of systems is a central concept for various disciplines, including biology, medicine, ecology, and even in social and economic sciences. Knowing how systems are organized and how their parts interact with each other is essential to understand and predict the behavior of a system.

Activity Title: "The Construction of the Human Body: Systems in Organization"

Project Objective

The objective of this activity is for students to develop a deeper understanding of the systems of the human body, through the creation of physical models and oral presentations on the functioning of a specific system.

Detailed Project Description

Groups will be formed by 3 to 5 students. Each group will be tasked with choosing one of the systems of the human body (circulatory system, nervous system, digestive system, etc.), conducting comprehensive research on it, and creating a physical model that illustrates the organization and functioning of that system.

Required Materials

  • Craft materials (cardboard, colored papers, glue, scissors, tape, toothpicks, etc.)
  • Science books and/or internet access for research
  • A camera or smartphone to document the process and the final result

Detailed Step-by-Step

  1. Group Formation: Form groups of 3 to 5 students.

  2. System Selection: Each group should choose one system of the human body to research and model.

  3. Research: Students should conduct comprehensive research on the chosen system, seeking to understand its organization, its parts (organs/structures), and its functions.

  4. Model Planning: Based on the research conducted, students should plan the construction of the physical model, deciding which parts will be represented, how they will be arranged, etc.

  5. Model Construction: Using the craft materials, students should build the model of the system, ensuring that it represents the organization and functioning of the researched system.

  6. Presentation Preparation: Students should prepare an oral presentation on the system, explaining its functioning and highlighting the most interesting aspects learned during the research.

  7. Model and System Presentation: Students should present the model and discuss the corresponding human body system to the class and the teacher.

Project Deliverables

At the end of the project, groups should deliver:

  1. Physical Model: Should creatively and accurately represent the researched human body system. This model should be presented in the classroom for analysis by classmates and the teacher.

  2. Oral Presentation: Each group should present the system they studied to the class, explaining its organization, functioning, and importance.

  3. Written Report: Each group should also prepare a report documenting the entire project execution. This report should include:

    • Introduction: Explanation of the topic choice, the relevance of the chosen system, and the activity's objective.

    • Development: Detailed explanation of the theory studied, the detailed description of the activity performed, the methodology used, and the results obtained (such as the model construction process and the research conducted).

    • Conclusions: Recap of the main points, analysis of the learnings obtained, comments on the difficulties encountered and proposed solutions, and the conclusions drawn about the studied system.

    • Bibliography: All books, videos, websites, and other materials consulted during the project execution.

The report will be evaluated considering the coherence of the content with the proposed theme, the depth of the research conducted, the clarity of the ideas' exposition, and the rigor in the presentation (spelling, grammar, text structure, etc.).
