In this project, we will delve into the connection between words, phrases, and sentences. The importance of this lies in the ability to produce and understand texts correctly. Knowing how to link words coherently and cohesively, build clauses and sentences, always respecting syntax, is a valuable skill, both for writing and reading.

Studying the connections between words, phrases, and sentences not only aids in understanding the structure of the language but is also essential to enhance writing and oral communication. Furthermore, the ability to understand how words are connected in a sentence is crucial for text interpretation, which is essential in many aspects of life, such as exams, reading contracts, writing a report, and even in day-to-day communication.

Practical Activity: 'Magical Connection between Words, Phrases, and Sentences'

Project Objective:

The main objective of this project is to deepen students' understanding of how words, phrases, and sentences are connected in Portuguese, promoting the practice of writing, reading, and collaborative decision-making.

Project Description:

Each group will be responsible for creating a 'Book of Magical Connections.' Through the use of stories, illustrations, word games, and other creative materials, students should explore the connection between words, phrases, and sentences in the Portuguese language.

Required Materials:

• A4 paper.
• Colored pens.
• Pencils and erasers.
• Ruler.
• Scissors.
• Glue.

Project Step-by-Step:

1. Group Formation: Form groups of 3 to 5 students. Each group will have one week to complete and present the project.

2. Choose a Story: Each group should choose a short story (a tale, fable, part of a book, etc.) to be the basis of their 'Book of Magical Connections.'

3. Deconstruction of the Story: After choosing the story, the group should deconstruct it, identifying the words, transforming sentences into clauses and vice versa, classifying periods, etc.

4. Reconstruction of the Story: Now, the story should be reconstructed in the form of the 'Book of Magical Connections,' creatively explaining how words, phrases, and sentences are connected. The use of illustrations is encouraged.

5. Book Making: Use the A4 paper to make the book. Be creative! You can use collages, drawings, paintings, etc., and should explain each connection clearly and in detail.

6. Book Presentation: In the end, each group must present their 'Book of Magical Connections' to the class.

Project Delivery:

The project will have two main deliveries:

1. The 'Book of Magical Connections,' with all the actions from the step-by-step properly documented and explained.

2. A written report detailing each stage of the book creation. The report should contain four parts:

   • Introduction: In this section, students should contextualize the theme, mention the story chosen for the project, and discuss its relevance and real-world application.

   • Development: Here, students should explain the theory behind the project, describe the process of deconstruction and reconstruction of the story, the methodology used, and present the results obtained, discussing the connection between words, phrases, and sentences in the chosen story.

   • Conclusion: Students should revisit the main points of the project, discuss what they learned from this experience, and draw conclusions about the project.

   • Bibliography: Students should present the sources of information used during the project.

The report should complement the 'Book of Magical Connections,' offering a theoretical and reflective deepening of what was learned and experienced during the project.
