Words like 'he,' 'she,' 'we,' 'I,' in all their cases (nominative, oblique, and possessive), are examples of personal pronouns.

The ability to correctly use numerals and personal pronouns in a text is fundamental for effective communication. They help avoid unnecessary repetitions and make our speech more natural and fluent. Furthermore, the proper use of these keywords can be indicative of a good command of the language, which is a valued skill in many areas of life, from school to the workplace.

Project Objective

The objective of this project is to provide students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge of numerals and personal pronouns in a practical context of creating a text. Through group work, students will have to employ the correct use of these linguistic components to build meaning and fluency in the text.

Detailed Activity Description

Groups will be challenged to create a tale that uses a variety of numerals (ordinal, cardinal, and fractional) and personal pronouns. The tale must have a beginning, middle, and end, and must be complex enough to allow for the varied use of numerals and personal pronouns.

Required Materials

• Paper and pen for drafting and notes.
• Access to textbooks, educational websites, and any other useful resources to search for examples and rules.
• Computer with word processing software for the final tale writing and report.

Activity Steps

1. Group Formation: Students must form groups of 3 to 5 people. Each group must choose a leader who will be responsible for coordinating the group's work and ensuring that everyone is participating.

2. Concept Study: Students must use the recommended resources to study numerals and personal pronouns, discussing the rules and examples in their groups.

3. Tale Creation: With an understanding of these concepts, groups must create a tale using a maximum variety of numerals and personal pronouns. This tale should have a clear structure (beginning, middle, and end) and should be interesting and creative.

4. Tale Review: After creating the tale, students must revise the text. At this stage, they should mainly check the proper use of numerals and personal pronouns.

5. Report Writing: Finally, students must write a report following the structure: Introduction, Development, Conclusions, and Bibliography.

Project Deliverables

At the end of the project, each group must deliver:

• The written tale: This should be a well-crafted text that demonstrates a varied and correct use of numerals and personal pronouns.
• The report: It should address the four main topics (Introduction, Development, Conclusions, Bibliography).

In the introduction, students must contextualize the use of numerals and personal pronouns in the Portuguese language. In the conclusion, they should summarize the main points of the work and talk about what they have learned. In the bibliography, list all sources used.
