Contextualization
Introduction
English is a global language, and it is essential that we learn to communicate effectively in this language, whether for travel, studies, work, or simply for the joy of knowing and learning something new. The first step in learning any language is to learn how to introduce yourself and greet people. This project will focus precisely on this skill.
We start by learning the basics: how to introduce yourself, ask and answer 'What is your name?', 'How are you?' and the main greetings in English. These are basic but fundamental tools that allow us to connect and interact with English speakers around the world.
Contextualization
One of the first things we do when meeting someone is to greet them. Greeting someone appropriately in their language is a sign of respect and openness. In addition, the act of greeting and introducing oneself establishes a common ground, a platform to build and expand communication.
In this globalized context, it is increasingly common to encounter people from different cultures and languages. Therefore, the need to communicate in a common language is practically inevitable, and English has often been the chosen language for this. Therefore, it is essential to master at least the basics of this language, such as introducing yourself and greeting appropriately.
