Project Objective
This project aims to provide students with a practical understanding of how mathematical expressions operate and how we can apply them in the real world. Additionally, it aims to develop skills such as time management, teamwork, proactivity, and creativity.
Detailed Project Description
Students will be divided into groups of 3 to 5 people. Each group will receive a set of problems, where operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, exponentiation, and root extraction will be used. The work of these groups is then to solve the problems using mathematical expressions.
The proposed questions will have a real-world context, such as calculating discounts, dividing values, calculating distances or volumes, etc. Thus, in addition to practicing mathematical operations, they will be able to clearly and practically understand how these applications are present in everyday life.
This project should be developed over a week, and it is expected that each student invest between two to four hours in its execution.

- Formation of groups of 3 to 5 students.

- Students should record the entire resolution process, noting the mathematical expressions used, which operations were performed, and the result of each one.
- Finally, each group should write a report, according to the format explained in the section "Project Delivery", to present the problems solved, the methodology used, and the results obtained.

The final result of the project should be a report written by the students, containing:
1. Introduction: Here, students should contextualize the importance of mathematical expressions and the project's objectives.
2. Development: In this section, students should explain the mathematical expressions used to solve each problem, the methodology applied by them, and the discussion of the results obtained.
3. Conclusion: In this space, students should revisit the main points of their work, highlighting the learnings obtained and the conclusions that emerged throughout the project.
