In this project, we will address one of the most powerful and mysterious tools in the universe of Mathematics: Logarithms. This concept, which was born out of the need to simplify complex calculations, has become one of the main mathematical tools in solving important issues in various fields of knowledge.

Through the study of logarithms, you will be able to better understand how exponential growth and decay calculations work, which are fundamental for understanding phenomena such as virus propagation, financial asset depreciation, and the perception of sound and light in the physical world.

Introduction

Logarithms were invented in the 17th century by the Scottish mathematician John Napier as a way to simplify the multiplication and division of large numbers. Essentially, the logarithm of a number is the exponent you need to raise a base (usually 10 or e, Euler's number) to obtain that number.

The fundamental property that makes logarithms so useful is that the logarithm of the product of two numbers is the sum of the logarithms of those numbers. This can greatly simplify complex calculations, especially when dealing with quantities that vary exponentially, such as population growth, radioactive decay, or compound interest.

Project Objective

The objective of this project is for students to apply logarithm concepts to solve real-world problems. Development

Presentation of Results
