We are surrounded by stars, but despite appearing similar to the naked eye, these luminous spheres of plasma are extremely diverse, varying in color, size, composition, and stage of life. Understanding the different types of stars and their life cycles is fundamental to understanding the universe as a whole.
Astronomy is the science that seeks to understand celestial bodies and phenomena outside the Earth's atmosphere. Since ancient times, humanity has devoted efforts to decipher the mysteries behind the night sky, and it is through the study of stars that we can more deeply understand our own place in the cosmos.
Introduction
In the universe, stars are formed from clouds of gas and interstellar dust, gravity compresses these clouds until the pressure and temperature in the core of these cosmic protuberances are sufficient to initiate nuclear fusion. This is the birth of a star.
Throughout its life, which can last billions of years, a star goes through several stages, depending mainly on its initial mass. Smaller stars, like our Sun, become red giants as they consume their nuclear fuel and eventually collapse into a white dwarf. Larger stars, on the other hand, go through a more violent and dramatic life cycle, becoming supernovae and eventually turning into a neutron star or a black hole.
However, it is not only the star's mass that determines its characteristics, the original chemical composition of the interstellar cloud and the distance at which the star is located also play a crucial role in determining the appearance and properties of a star. In short, the variety of stars in the universe is vast and complex, providing a rich field for study and observation.

Project Objective
The objective of this project is to have students apply theoretical concepts about types of stars and their life cycles in creating an explanatory video, a 3D model, or an interactive infographic, depending on the group's choice. Students will also learn to work in teams and manage their time effectively.
Detailed Project Description
Students will be divided into groups of 3 to 5 people and will be tasked with exploring the different types of stars and their life cycles. They must choose between creating an explanatory video, a 3D model, or an interactive infographic to present their findings.
Explanatory Video: Students will research and explain the different types of stars, such as red dwarfs, white dwarfs, and neutron stars, their evolutionary process, and the transformations that occur during these processes.
3D Model: Students will create a 3D model representing the life cycle of a star, from its formation to the end of its existence. Students must explain the different transformations that the star undergoes throughout its life.
Interactive Infographic: Students will create an interactive infographic detailing the different types of stars, their life cycles, and the transformations that occur over time.
