The position is where the object is in relation to the reference. If our reference is the starting point of the race, a runner's position will be the distance he has traveled from that point.

From navigating in an unknown city to programming satellites in orbit, the application of these concepts is everywhere. Understanding a map, for example, requires an understanding of these concepts. The point where you are is your position and the map provides the reference.
Furthermore, these concepts are fundamental for the development of emerging technologies, such as autonomous vehicles and virtual reality. Without a solid understanding of this, the creation and improvement of these technologies would be impossible.

Project Objective
The objective of this project is for students to apply the concepts of reference and position to navigate through a maze drawn on the floor.

Students will create a maze on a large sheet of paper, cardboard, or canvas. Then, they will describe the path to exit the maze using the concepts of reference and position. Finally, they will write a report describing the activity and the concepts applied. This project combines theory with practice, allowing students to internalize the concepts more effectively.

- Using the sheet of paper, cardboard, or canvas, draw a maze. This maze must have at least one entrance and one exit.
- Define a reference point in your maze.
- Now, using this reference, describe the maze exit from the entrance, indicating the positions to be occupied to follow the correct path. For example, 'Go 2 meters to the right, then 1 meter up, then 3 meters to the left, etc.'.
