There are generally five main textual types: narration, description, dissertation, exposition, and injunction. Each has its own characteristics and particular purposes. Narration, for example, is the textual type where facts involving characters in a specific time and space are told. On the other hand, injunction is based on instructions, such as recipes or instruction manuals.

Textual types do not exist in isolation. They blend and complement each other in various contexts. A novel, for example, can have descriptive scenes, expository moments, and even instructions. Understanding these nuances helps to comprehend human communication in a broader way and to communicate more effectively.

In the 21st century, we are immersed in a universe where communication is the key to social, cultural, and professional interaction. Being able to understand and produce different types of texts is an indispensable skill. Project Objective

The project's objective is to familiarize students with different textual types and their main characteristics, exploring theoretical concepts in a practical and playful way through the creation and analysis of a multidimensional text that incorporates the various types of texts.

Detailed Project Description

Students will be divided into groups of 3 to 5 people. Each group will be responsible for creating a "Multidimensional Text," a text that integrates the five textual types (narration, description, dissertation, exposition, and injunction), suitable for a target audience chosen by the group. Additionally, each group must analyze and present the structure and functionality of each textual type present in their work.

Required Materials

• Computers with internet access (for research and text preparation).
• Writing materials (pens, pencils, paper).
• Text processing software (Word, Google Docs, etc).

Detailed Step-by-Step

1. Divide students into groups of 3 to 5 people.
2. Each group must choose a target audience for their text (e.g., children, youth, adults, elderly).
3. The groups must study the five textual types and understand their characteristics and structures, using the indicated resources and other research sources.
4. Next, the groups must create the "Multidimensional Text," incorporating the different types of texts. Each textual type must be clearly identifiable and suitable for the chosen target audience.
5. When creating the text, the groups must discuss and document their style and structure choices.
6. After completing the text, the groups must write a detailed analysis of the work, identifying the different textual types used, explaining why they were used, and how they contribute to the overall functionality of the text.

• Conclusion: The group must revisit the main points of the work, explaining the learnings obtained and the conclusions drawn about the project. They should also highlight the skills developed throughout the teamwork.
• Bibliography: Students must indicate all research sources used for the project.

For the report, it is recommended that students write together, revising and improving the text in several stages, thus practicing the production of collective texts and developing versatility in writing.

Each student should dedicate between five to ten hours to complete the project, which must be delivered within a month from the introduction date.
