Project Objective

The objective of this project is to provide students with a practical and deep understanding of the concept of situational reference and its implications in the interpretation of texts and speeches.

Detailed Project Description

For this project, students will be divided into groups of 3 to 5. Each group will receive 5 different texts: a political speech, a chronicle, a dialogue from a film, an advertisement and a newspaper article. The challenge will be to identify and analyze the situational references present in all these texts, discuss their implications for the interpretation of the text and report their conclusions.

2. Each group receives the 5 texts for analysis.

3. Each group will read and discuss each of the texts, identifying and noting the situational references present in each of them.
