Title: "Exploring the World of Textual Sequences"

Project Objective

This project aims to deepen students' knowledge and understanding of textual sequences. The activity requires students to work in groups of 3 to 5 people and create a blog. In this blog, each post will be dedicated to a type of textual sequence. Thus, students will have the opportunity to analyze, produce and revise different types of textual sequences.

Detailed Project Description

Each group must develop a blog, in which at least five posts must be made, each addressing a type of textual sequence (narrative, descriptive, argumentative, expository and dialogical). Each post should contain a brief theoretical explanation about the textual type, an example of the textual type (a story, dialogue, description, argument or exposition) written by the students themselves, and a critical commentary explaining the characteristics of the textual type used, its effectiveness, and possible improvements.

Required Materials

Students will need a computer with internet access, a word processing program (such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs), and time and dedication.

Detailed Step-by-Step

1. Divide the class into groups of 3 to 5 students.

2. Each group should choose a free blogging platform (such as WordPress, Blogger or Tumblr).

3. Each group should create a blog post for each type of textual sequence. Each post should include a brief theoretical explanation of the textual type, an example of the textual type, and a critical commentary.

4. Groups should use the theory studied to guide the creation of their content.

5. After finishing the blog, each group should review the content of another group and make constructive comments on the posts.

6. Finally, students should revise their own posts in light of the comments received and make any necessary changes.

Project Delivery

For the project delivery, in addition to the link to the blog itself, groups should submit a written report, structured as follows:

1. Introduction: The group must present the topic, its relevance and practical application in the real world and in the developed project. Here, it is important to justify the choice of the blog platform and the structure used in the posts.

2. Development: Here, the group should explain the content of each post, justify the choices made in the development of the content, and discuss the comments received and the changes made in response to these comments.

3. Conclusion: The group should conclude the work by pointing out the main lessons learned, the difficulties faced and overcome, and how these can be applied in academic life and beyond.

4. Bibliography: Finally, the groups should present the bibliography used for the theoretical construction of the posts, as well as for the construction of the blog.

At the end of this project, it is expected that students will have deepened their understanding of textual sequences and their practical applications. In addition, it is expected that students have developed important skills such as teamwork, time management, creative and critical use of technology, and writing and revision skills.
