Project objective:

The objective of this activity is to ensure that students are able to correctly understand and use possessive and demonstrative pronouns in Spanish. They will create a virtual market, where they will need to use these grammatical structures to interact in buying and selling situations. This project will also involve teamwork skills, communication, and the application of basic economic concepts.

Detailed description of the project:

In this project, students will simulate a trip to the market, with the purpose of using possessive and demonstrative pronouns in a practical context. To do this, the groups will be divided into two: sellers and buyers. The sellers will have to prepare a list of items for sale, while the buyers will have to prepare a list of items they want to buy. In a virtual meeting, the buyers will go to the sellers' 'stands' to negotiate the items.

Each group should research the most common market items in Spain and Latin America, to create their list, which should include an image, the name of the item in Spanish, and a brief description. This activity will involve research in geography and culture, introducing students to items that may not be common in their own country.

Students will create buying and selling dialogues using possessive and demonstrative pronouns correctly. They should record these dialogues, which will be part of the final presentation of the project.
