Project Objective

The objective of this project is for students to develop the ability to use the imperative in the Spanish language properly and to demonstrate their understanding of the use and application of this verbal mood through a Role-playing Game (RPG) in which they must create and perform a real situation where the imperative is widely used.

Detailed Project Description

Groups will be formed by 3 to 5 students, and each group will have to produce an RPG in which there will be situations where the use of the imperative mood is necessary. The situations will be chosen by the groups but must be everyday situations, such as a cooking class, a sports training, among others.

Each scenario must have at least 5 commands in the affirmative imperative and 5 in the negative imperative, whether in the context of instructions, advice, requests, prohibitions, etc.

Required Materials

For the development of the RPG, no special material will be needed, besides what is already available in the classroom, such as a blackboard and chalk, paper, and pen.

Detailed Step-by-Step for Carrying Out the Activity

1. Group Formation: Form groups of 3 to 5 students.

2. Scenario Selection: Each group must choose a real scenario where the use of the imperative is common.

3. Script Preparation: Each group must prepare a script for the RPG, indicating the situations where the use of the imperative will be necessary. The script must include at least 5 commands in the affirmative imperative and 5 commands in the negative imperative.

4. Rehearsal and RPG Preparation: Groups must rehearse and prepare the RPG, paying special attention to the correct use of the imperative.

• Bibliography: The student must indicate the sources they relied on to work on the project such as books, web pages, videos, etc.

The script and report must be delivered one week after the start of the project.
