Project Objective
Deepen the understanding of the digestive system by creating an interactive model and producing a video presentation to explain the process of digestion and nutrient absorption, as well as the implications of digestive problems on human health.
Detailed Project Description
Groups should create a 3D model of the digestive system using recyclable materials, clay, playdough, paper, cardboard, or any other material they consider suitable. This model should be didactic, allowing the visualization and understanding of the parts and functioning of the digestive system.
After creating the model, each group should produce a video (maximum duration of 10 minutes) explaining the digestive system based on their model. The video should clearly show all parts of the digestive system, explain the role of each of them, describe the process of digestion and absorption of food. Students should also discuss some digestive diseases and their implications for human health.
