In this project, we will focus on two areas of English vocabulary: food, and objects and parts of the house.

The choice of these topics is not random. Food and housing are an integral part of our daily lives. Not only do we interact with them daily, but they are also crucial elements that form the basis of a culture. The way we prepare our food and how we build our homes can say a lot about a country's culture.

Introduction

Vocabulary is the foundation of any language. It is composed of the names we give to things, people, places, and all other things we can name. Knowing a broad and varied vocabulary is crucial for fluency in a foreign language. This project aims to provide a fun and interactive way for you to learn and practice the vocabulary of food and household items in English.

Think about everyday situations where this vocabulary can be used. Imagine yourself ordering food in a restaurant in an English-speaking country or describing your house to a foreign friend. Without knowledge of vocabulary in these areas, such tasks can be difficult.

This project will help you increase your vocabulary, improve your English communication skills, and also develop important socio-emotional skills, such as time management, problem-solving, creative thinking, and proactivity.

Practical Activity

Activity Title: "English in Real Life: Food and Home"

Project Objective:

The objective of this project is to encourage students to learn and use the vocabulary of food and household items in English in a practical and applied context. The project also aims to encourage collaboration and effective communication among group members.

Detailed Project Description:

Students, in groups of 3 to 5, should create a script for a short video or presentation. The script should include dialogues and scenes involving the use of food vocabulary and parts and objects of the house. It can be a scene of shopping at the market, preparing a meal, cleaning the house, etc.

Required Materials:

1. Computer or smartphone with a camera for video recording or presentation creation.
2. Internet access for research.
3. Video editing or presentation software (optional).
4. English subtitles for the dialogues to enhance learning.

Detailed Step-by-Step for Activity Execution:

1. Form groups of 3 to 5 students.
2. Discuss and decide on a scenario where the vocabulary of food and household items in English can be used.
3. Prepare a script detailing the scenes and dialogues that will use the learned vocabulary.
4. Research and confirm the words you will use in the script.
5. Represent your script in the form of a video or presentation.
6. Be sure to include English subtitles for all dialogues.
7. Review the final work before the presentation.
8. Conclude the practical activity with the writing of the project report.
