Activity Title: "Operations of NATO against terrorism: a graphical analysis"

Project Objective:

The objective of this project is to analyze and understand NATO's role in combating terrorism through the creation of infographics and thematic maps illustrating the operations, strategies used, their consequences, and the challenges faced by NATO.

Detailed project description:

Each group of 3 to 5 students will be responsible for researching and creating an infographic together with a thematic map representing NATO's actions in combating terrorism. The infographic and thematic map should show NATO's main operations against terrorism, its strategies, the reactions of different countries and regions, and the challenges faced by the organization.

Required materials:

1. Internet access for research
2. Computer with image editing software or online tool for creating infographics and maps
3. Reliable sources for analysis and research, such as academic articles, reports, official NATO documents, among others.

Step by step:

1. Initial research (1 hour): Research NATO and its involvement in combating terrorism using the sources suggested in the introduction and others deemed relevant. During the research, take notes on NATO's main operations, strategies used, major challenges, and the reactions of different countries and regions.

2. Planning the infographic and thematic map (1 hour): Based on the research, discuss as a group which information will be included in the infographic and thematic map. Plan how the information will be presented.

3. Creating the infographic and thematic map (1 to 2 hours): Use an image editing tool or an online platform to create the infographic and thematic map. Ensure that both are clear, creative, and informative.

4. Writing the report (1 hour): Write a report detailing the work done. The report should include an introduction to the topic, the methodology used, a detailed description of the infographic and thematic map, and the group's conclusions.

Project deliverables:

The group must deliver the following:

1. Infographic and thematic map: The final version of the infographic and thematic map created by the group.
2. Written document: The document should be structured according to the topics described in the introduction of this project: Introduction, Development, Conclusions, and Bibliography. In the development section, explain in detail the creation of the infographic and map, describing each element and how it relates to NATO's actions in combating terrorism. The document should be written clearly and concisely, clearly stating the role of each group member and the lessons learned.
