Project Objective
This project aims to immerse students in the reality of decision-making in bioethics through a simulation of the International Bioethics Council (IBC). It is expected that students will be able to understand the role of bioethics in science, understand the functioning of a regulatory body, think critically about bioethical dilemmas, and work as a team to solve such dilemmas.
Detailed Project Description
In this project, students will be divided into groups of 3 to 5 people. Each group will represent a fictional nation and will have to debate a bioethical dilemma proposed by the teacher. The dilemmas can range from human cloning, use of stem cells, mandatory vaccination, animal testing, climate change, among others.
To carry out the activity, each group will have to research the presented topic, outline an ethical position based on the collected information, and discuss their ideas and arguments with the other groups. The debate will be guided by the teacher, who will act as a moderator.

- Computer with internet access for research;
- Paper and pen for notes;
