Title of the activity: Mosaic of Textual Organizers

Objective of the project

This project aims to develop students' understanding of textual organizers, their application, and importance in the construction of textual coherence and cohesion.

Detailed description of the project

Divided into groups of 3 to 5 students, students will investigate, compile, and present the different types of textual organizers. Each group will be responsible for investigating specific types of textual organizers and their applications. Each group will then produce a "mosaic" - composed of parts of a text, where each part will present the use of a type of textual organizer.

The groups will have to:

1. Identify the textual organizers assigned to their group.
2. Research and collect examples of how these organizers are used in different contexts.
3. Write a text that uses the researched textual organizers in a cohesive and coherent way, addressing a topic chosen by the group.
4. Present the work to the class, explaining how the textual organizers were applied in the text.

Required materials

To carry out this activity, the groups will need:

1. Access to books and/or the internet for researching textual organizers.
2. Paper and pen for notes and drafts.
3. Computer with text editor for producing the final text.

Step by step

1. Organize yourselves into groups of 3 to 5 students.
