Project Objective

The objective of this project is to apply the concepts of 'Future Imperfect' and 'Future Perfect' in a practical and engaging context, with the assistance of interpersonal communication, time management, problem-solving, creative thinking, and teamwork.

Project Description

The groups will create a 'Future Almanac', inspired by the movie 'Back to the Future II', where they will predict future events using 'Future Imperfect' for uncertain predictions, and 'Future Perfect' for events that, according to their projections, will have already occurred at a certain moment in the future. The predictions will encompass different areas such as technology, environment, society, and sports.

Required Materials

The materials required for this project include:

• Notebooks or papers for taking notes and drafts.
• Computers with internet access for research.
• Materials for creating the Almanac (paper, pencils, pens, glue, scissors, magazines for cutouts).
• Text editing software for the final report.

Project Step by Step

1. Group Formation: Students must organize themselves into groups of 3 to 5 people, as defined by the teacher.

2. Preliminary Research: Each group will conduct research in the designated areas, collecting current data and trends.

3. Future Projections: Using 'Future Imperfect', students will make uncertain projections about what may happen in the future in the selected areas. Using 'Future Perfect', they will predict which of these actions will have been completed at a certain moment in the future.

4. Creation of the Future Almanac: With the collected information and predictions, the groups will create their Future Almanac. Students should be encouraged to be creative in presenting their Almanac, using drawings, cutouts, diagrams, etc.

5. Almanac Presentation: Each group will present their Future Almanac to the class, explaining their predictions and how they used 'Future Imperfect' and 'Future Perfect' in their projections.

6. Writing the Final Report: After the presentation, each group will write a detailed report on the project, which should include an introduction to the theme and the project, a detailed description of the experience, the results obtained, the conclusions drawn from the project, and the bibliography used. The report must be submitted to the teacher on the specified date.
