Students, divided into groups of 3 to 5, will research and develop a concept map and a report on phenols, their uses, environmental impacts, and nomenclature, according to IUPAC guidelines. The concept map should be elaborated in a playful and creative way, containing images, diagrams, formulas, and tables that help explain and contextualize all the knowledge acquired throughout the project.
Required Materials:
- Organic chemistry textbooks;
- Internet access for research;
- Concept mapping software (such as Coggle), or pens and paper if they prefer the manual form;
- Text editing software (such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or LaTeX) for report writing.
