In this project, we will explore the 'Climate Factors', an essential and fascinating topic in our Geography discipline that is closely linked to other disciplines such as Biology and Environmental Sciences. This project is of fundamental importance, considering that climate directly influences various aspects, from landscape formation to social, economic, and political phenomena.
Climate factors are elements that directly influence the climate of a region. They encompass latitude, altitude, maritime and continentality, air masses, ocean currents, vegetation, and relief. Each of these factors influences the climate in different ways, so it is essential to understand their characteristics and interactions so that we can understand, predict, and even mitigate their impacts. For example, latitude can affect the amount of solar energy a location receives, directly impacting its temperature and precipitation.
Through this project, you will have the opportunity to delve into the study of climate factors, explore theoretical concepts and their practical implications, and also understand how they interact and influence the climate of our planet. As an additional learning element, this project will also require you to apply teamwork, research, data analysis, and writing skills in an integrated and engaging way.

Activity Title:
"Exploring Climate Factors: a case study"
Project Objective:
Develop a deep understanding of Climate Factors and their interactions, through the completion of a detailed case study. Use digital resources and research techniques to collect, analyze, and interpret data on these Climate Factors and present the findings in a final written report.
Detailed Project Description:
Dividing into groups of 3 to 5 students, each group will choose a region in the world and conduct a detailed case study of that region in relation to Climate Factors. The case study will involve collecting data on each climate factor in the chosen region, analyzing this data to understand how they interact to form the region's climate, and presenting the findings in the final report.
Required Materials:
- Internet access for research
- Maps of the chosen region
- Paper and pencil for notes
- Computer to write the final document
Detailed Step-by-Step for Activity Completion:
- Divide into groups of 3 to 5 students.
- Each group will choose a region of the world for their case study.
- Conduct extensive research to collect data on each Climate Factor in the chosen region.
- Analyze the collected data to understand how Climate Factors interact to form the region's climate.
- Prepare a report discussing your findings. The report should follow the format of Introduction, Development, Conclusions, and Bibliography used.
